The RAM Cradle is designed to hold the following Apple iPod units:
With Firewire Connection:

Apple iPod 10GB
With Dock Connection:
Apple iPod 10GB Generation 2
Apple iPod 15GB Generation 2
Apple iPod 30GB Generation 2
Apple iPod 15GB Generation 3
Apple iPod 20GB Generation 3
Apple iPod 40GB Generation 3
NOTE: The cradle does not allow the connection to the Dock Connector found at the bottom of G2 and G3 iPods.
The cradle WILL NOT hold the Apple iPod 20GB with Firewire connection, as it is too thick for the cradle.
